What Styles Of Praise And Worship Are There?
Filed in Category - Jewish Hymn LyricsThis is a silly question, but I’d like to know because I am organizing all my praise and worship music in a 3-ring binder for my guitar music collection.
I have made these “sub-genres” but if there are actual names for these or suggestions (opinions welcome), I’d like to hear them.
My catgegories:
Popular (I guess “contemporary” would be a better term)
-songs like “how great is our God” and “breathe” etc…
Classic (I guess these are old school woship songs..”maranatha” style? – songs like “create in me a clean heart” and “Hosanna”, etc…
Gospel & Hymns (self explanitory) – songs like “Sanctuary” and “Amazing Grace” – songs with that southern gospel sound to them, and songs that are old Hymns.
Jewish sounding – songs like “As David did,” He is Jehovah” and “how I praise you”…they have that Jewish rhythm and the minor guitar chords! 
If anyone can make suggestions for me to easily organize or “CATEGORIZE” my worship music collection, that would be greatly appreciated!

Those titles are Christian Songs.
