I had my office christmas party last night and we were the last group to leave and the barmen were saying goodbye to us then when we were going through the door they started singing that song with the lyric ‘Whats she gonna look like with a chimney on her?’ You know the one
What did they mean by that?
I know what the song means, its about whats she gonna look like with a black eye on her cos you cheated on me with her
But what do you think they meant by singing it??????

It was Christmas Night and I went to bed like you do and in the middle of the night say like 2 oclock in the morning I felt as if someone was in the room with me, half asleep/half awake I could hear someone breathing and shuffling something near my radiator in the corner of my room, I looked up and saw a long black figure so I freaked out and fell back to sleep. My cousin was sleeping round so she was sleeping in the same bed next to me and I swear it wasn’t her. Anyways when we both woke up in the morning I told my cousin about the black figure I saw last night and she swore the same thing happened to her except she cried herself to sleep as she was that scared. Anyways later on that day, I found out that the guy id been going out with and texting hung himself in the early hours of Boxing day… I still don’t know why he did this and I’m distraught at the fact he could do this to himself, its so sad and he never realised how many people actually loved him 
I liked him so much and I never got to tell him how I really felt about him. To that day, I still think it was him who was in my room to say his final goodbyes to me. Do you think people do this once they die? I need your opinions?
But the ironic thing was when we were dating I was on the phone to him once and he really wanted to come see me but I said no as I was in my pyjamas and looked a mess but he was like no I don’t care if your in your pj’s, I bet you don’t even look that bad.. Looks like he got the chance to actually see me in my pj’s haha..do you think this could be linked or am I just being stupid?
Also, a couple of hours before out first date which was in november, he posted this song on his wall on facebook and the lyrics to this song seem a bit ironic aswell …

Industry influenced songs?

Many songs have multiple meanings, take for example the video for California Gurls sung by Katy Perry, its full of sexual imagery and sweets. Could such industries ask music producers to make them a song?
Another song is Only Girl (In the World) sung by Rihanna, its quite regular on the radio, its lyrics have nothing to do with Christmas but the texts do portray a woman wanting everything.
Could you suggest me some Gospel songs?

I got my brother 2 CDs for Xmas but I lost one so only gave him 1 on Xmas day, I’m still looking for the lost one, I think I might have to go buy another copy of it 2moro if I can’t find it!!!
And also up until a few days ago I thought the line in that Wham song was ‘this year to seven frontiers… I’ll give it to someone special’, it makes alot more sense now I know the real lyrics!!

Okay, for a talk at my Christian youth group I’m talking about Christian music.
As Blessthefall are one of my fave bands, I wanted to include one of their songs, but I know their songs aren’t always about their religious beliefs and everything.
Anyway, which song (if any) do you think I should include? Lyricswise, it has to bring up a Bible reference or at least a principle which the group can then discuss….
