Making Christmas Trees From Hymn Books?

Does anyone remember how to fold the pages or cut em or something…old hymn books and when you are finished it is a christmas tree?

Yeah rip off the hard covers, fold in the pages and hope your pastor or priest doesn’t catch you. Oh yeah and spray paint the hymn books/trees gold……
You can also make them with old phone books. I don’t remember how to do it; however, what a neat blast from the past! We used to do this in Girl Scouts all the time!
Everyone used to make them out of Readers Digest magazines. Here’s a link with the directions. We used to spray paint them and add glitter.
