after u kill seymour and fall through the ice in macalania Auron says he heard Tidus singing the hymn but where did tidus learn the hymn jecht already was gone and how did jecht learn it since auron says jecht sang it a lot how did they both learn it for anyone who can help it’d be appriciated my first assumption would be that auron taught jecht the hymn when he got to zanarkand from sin warping him to zanarkand

What I’m about to explain is a fairly significant plot detail that doesn’t get explained until very close to the end of the game. As such, I’m going to mark it as:
****SPOILERS!!****
Summoned creatures are created through the dreams of the Fayth. Most of them are called upon by Summoners. However, two are not. Tidus and Jecht were summoned by the Fayth themselves in order to stop Sin, because the Fayth are tired of dreaming (to keep summoning possible and continue the cycle of stopping Sin) and want restful sleep. They summoned up the historical Zanarkand and placed Tidus and Jecht in it, then pulled them each out of it into the real Spira. As such, Jecht and Tidus would have whatever knowledge the Fayth felt they would need to defeat Sin and to flesh them out as real personalities. They therefore made the real world Hymn of the Fayth important in their historical Zanarkand dream.

Well when jecht reached to Spira he learnt Hymn of The Faith there. As for tidus he learnt it from Auron[while hewas being watched by Auron]
