I can't answer for what your Muslim clerics would say, though from what Julia D has said it sounds as if it would be OK. You would certainly be very welcome at my synagogue. I am so pleased that you are interested in Judaism. I am becoming interested in Islam through the contributions of a couple of interesting and sincere Muslims on this site.
EDIT: I puzzle endlessly over the motivation of thumbs-down. What have I said here that is so controversial that it can be disagreed with? Surely I've only stated a few simple facts?

Unlike Xians, we Jews are monotheists, and I would urge to visit a synagogue rather than a temple.
Personally, being that I am Jewish and Orthodox, I would have no problem praying in a mosque, but walking into a church is definitely a problem!
If you have any questions please feel free to email me!
PEACE:)

I'm pretty sure muslims, jews and gentiles all pray to the same god....the religions diverge in that one thinks a carpenter is gods son, another says mohammed is their prophet, and the jews are holding out for a better deal i think....
so sure pray wherever you want...

A Muslim interested in Judaism? Wow, that is quite extraordinary since you guys hate the Jews more than anybody else. And yes, I think it will be alright, but again, I'm no expert. My only exposure to Islam as a religion is from a grandma, who is a Muslim by birth. Rest of my family are all Christians. And I am quite offended that you think Christianity isn't a "true" monotheistic religion. You are completely ignorant about the concept of Holy Trinity and I suggest you read some books on Christianity before making rude comments like that!

It's true that Jews are monotheists unlike Christians. Indeed, we share the same God but I ain't sure about joining them in prayers. You would get better answers if you were to direct your question to an Islamic Forum like below:http://www.islamicboard.com/

As far as I know we are supposed to respect people of the book but are not supposed to go into churches or syngogs not even if it was for a funeral for a family member.

no, the revelation of the bible is not recognized by islam ,since it covers from a to z the book of life is seen with GOD before the creation of the visible universe around us, so no liar gets in at the end.

Jews and Muslims have always been allowed by both Jewish and Muslim religious law to pray in each other's mosques and synagogues because there is no idolatry to be found in either.
You're correct that neither we (Jews) nor Muslims are allowed to pray in a Christian place of worship due to the idolatry of belief in Christianity (virgin births, messiah man being God, messiah acting as a virgin human blood sacrifice for sin, a God who is 3-in-1, etc. none of which Judaism has), as well as because of the statues and symbols found within these Christian places.
This is why the Messianic "Jews" removed all things Christian looking in their churches, in order to make it more acceptable to the Jews they try to deceive into converting to Christianity. Messianic "Jews" are mainly Fundamentalist Christian GENTILES, the entire Messianic "Jewish" movement was begun by Southern Baptist Gentile Christians to specifically target Jews for conversion by deception, due to the Baptist belief that Jesus will not return until all the Jews are converted to Christianity. Now you'll find many Gentiles on the internet claiming to be Messianic "Jews" because they feel it makes them special in the eyes of their fellow Christians, and they do it for egotistical reasons. When exposed for who they really are, their hatred for Jews and Judaism is breathtaking to behold.
