Hi Everyone,
We sing a lot of beautiful Psalms and Canticles in my church, especially at special occasions. I have tried to get some of these but I have not been successful. I have tried www.emusic.com but they do not have the ones I was looking for.
Could anyone please tell me where I could get CDs, DVDs or MP3 files of these Psalms? If possible, I would like the ones as sung by the Methodist and Anglican hymn books/books of prayer.

The Hyperion company in the UK has a large selection of Anglican psalms performed by The Choir of St Paul’s Cathedral:- see http://www.hyperion-records.co.uk/find.a…
The canticles tend to found under the composer. For example, the same record company has a set of Stanford’s settings (go to the site and search ‘Stanford’). Many other composers have set the Anglican service and you would have to search each separately. You mention emusic.com. That has the complete Naxos catalogue for download. Some years ago, that company made a large number of recordings with the Choir of St. John’s College, Cambridge. Try entering that in the search box and see if there is anything that interests you.
