You are very bright. It does seem that more and more of the flock are straying and lost. But don't lose sight of us who remain with the Shepherd.

People cannot change in and of themselves...........only through Christ can real change be achieved.
We're all sinners in need of the Savior. We are hopeless without Him

If you're pointing people to click on your profile, they'll just think that you're one of those who shove. Let them decide on their own. Remember that we dont do the SAVING; we're just messengers.

The journey from Mt Sinai (not come) to Mt Sion (come), through the valley of the shadow of death, is notably a grace walk (Hebrews 1-11) until it becomes a grace "run" in Hebrews 12, notably when seeing we also are compassed about with law<--law ppl. Selah.

Jesus was still alive that day , He was saying these things to the people because he had not given himself yet for the redemption of sin. None of those people listining could possibly do all the things he mentioned on the mount that was his point. later after his death they would eventually get it, Without Christ we are all dead to the law and good deeds and all good works no not one is just. Behind closed doors we all have secrets only God knows of. And mark his words we will all be judged Except those of us who are covered by the death and resurection of Jesus Christ.

There is something in what you say. Some evangelists give the impression that the main thing is to sign along the dotted line, as it were, by surrendering oneself to Christ and accepting the gift of salvation, after which, having been once saved a person is always saved. But if you look closely at what Paul writes in his epistles, a change of life is mandatory if we are to be acceptable to Christ. The fact that we have gone through the process of committing our lives to Him is of little worth if our lives are then not in keeping with that commitment. This was something about which the epistles are very firm. Romans 6:1, for example: "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?" No, we are required to be truly "converted" -- that is, "turned around" and live as ambassadors for Christ, our behaviour and lifestyle being in keeping with our high calling. That is why God sent His Holy Spirit -- so that indeed rivers of living water would flow from us.

Yes, I believe Christians have lost sight of what is really important. However, there is always hope that they will return to their father/
