I don't know exactly which songs were added or excluded, but I do know that the green version is just an updated edition of the blue one. They took out a few songs, and added a few. I'm not sure why the ones that were taken out, were taken out either. It might just be because they weren't used a lot. I know that "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing" was taken out, but it is still sung by choirs and as the "special musical number" sometimes.
