Hey everyone, I am a Christian,im 16..ive noticed on Y!A Christians get beat up more than like any other religon on here, how does that make u feel?..ive got some other random questions 2 that i feel like throwin out there cuz i just wanted some other peoples opinions..

Because the church keeps changing and songs are getting more upbeat and stylish with the times, do you have a hymn or a song that your grandparents, mother, or you love. I love “It is well with my soul.”

My verse is Jude 1:24a “Now to him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you without blemish before the presence of his glory wih rejoicing.”

When you think about it, this is totally awesome because there is absolutely nothing naturally holy in any of us.

You do not have to be a Christian to answer this, for we all love God. And yes, He loves us all as well.

Music and artist. Mine are , Amazing Grace, Just a closer Walk w/ thee, Spirit in the Sky, by Norman Greenbaum, and If I can Dream , by Elvis Presley, and When I die , by Blood , Sweat & Tears. If does not have to be per say from the Hymns of the Bible but any song relating to your spiritual side.

I don’t hear too much about Gospel music these days. I was just wondering if anyone out there like Gospel music. It’s the only type of music I listen to. When I said Gospel I mean old hymns with a meaning. Songs that make you feel good on the inside. Music that encourages your soul and uplifts your spirit. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

It’s hard for me to decide. I have so many favorites. If I had to pick just one, though, it would have to be “Our God (Is An Awesome God)”.

One of my favorites is an LDS hymn we sung yesterday in institute. It’s called “As Zion’s Youth in Latter Days. I couldnt find the lyrics on google, but I did find a youtube of youth singing it. Please watch it!

My favorite hymn would probably be “I’ll go where you want me to go”
My life has been somewhat difficult in that I had different dreams and plans than have come to me, but I love my Lord, and being where he wants me to be has been difficult. I was a soldier, I had no problems being on the front lines, and I enjoyed being on the front lines. But God has called me home to do other things, and this stanza has always meant a lot to me,
It may not be at the battle’s front
My Lord will have need of me.
But if, by a still, small voice he calls
To paths that I do not know,
I’ll answer, dear Lord, with my hand in thine;
I’ll go where you want me to go.
Now I’m home becoming a doctor of neuropsychology and raising a family, a very foreign path to me, one that actually scared me more than combat, but HERE WE GO!

Do you have a favorite hymn? This is my first question here. I was tipped off about this site when I was visiting an inmate at the local prison hospital. Billy had had a freak accident with a butterfly net and he suggested I try it out.
